The eligibility for pre-nursery class starts at two years old. The IIN&IIKG accepts the application when the child is one year old. The school will confirm the start date according to the child’s date of birth.

All new student orientation processes adopt the evidence-based "Gradual Separation Approach" from child psychology, which effectively reduces separation anxiety and helps young children gradually build lasting emotional security and independence.

August: Parent-Child Bonding Period (Only for children turning 2 by September)

Objective: Allow children to explore their new environment with the support of a secure attachment relationship

• PN Class (Pre-Nursery): 4-day parent-accompanied adaptation
• K1 Class (Kindergarten 1): 2-day parent-accompanied adaptation

September: Phased School Hour Adjustment

• First Week: Daily incremental increase of 0.5 hours in school time (Day 1: 1 hour; Day 2: 1.5 hours; Day 3: 2 hours; Day 4: 2.5 hours; Day 5: 3 hours)
• Designed based on children’s attention span development
• Gradually fosters independence and environmental adaptability
