The European Renaissance began in Italy, and Italian painting, sculpture, architecture, science, literature, and music were at the heart of all of Europe.

Italy’s Renaissance, rooted in the great Greek-Roman classical culture, is the mother of the European civilization and has given the basis of art, music, medicine, law, science to all the European countries. The modern science originated in Italy thanks to Galileo Galilei the father of the ‘scientific method’, as Albert Einstein said. Big contribution has been given by Italian also in the children education (Montessori and Malaguzzi).
