Thank you to the Sapientia Foundation for sponsoring this event to create a knowledgeable and real-life experience for all IIN & IIKG students!
We were delighted to have Captain Fabio, the captain of the sailboat "Fenice," which means Phoenix in Italian. He shared his extensive knowledge about the sea, the wind, boats, and the use of life jackets.
He particularly captivated our young learners with fascinating insights about the ocean in front of an Optimist class sailboat (a dinghy for young people up to 15) at the school.
To further expand our student's learning experience, We invited some parents to board the "Fenice". The children along the promenade near our school with class teachers were filled with joy, watching the sailboat sail near the South Horizons promenade. We waved and cheered for Captain Fabio and their beloved parents on the boat!
It was a wonderful day filled with learning and a deeper appreciation for the beauty of the sea. Thank you to the Sapientia Foundation for sponsoring the sailboat, Captain Fabio for inspiring our children's minds, and all the parents who participated!
